The real Berlin

If you walk from the Savvy building in the direction of Boxhagener Platz, you will find a variety of great restaurants and shops to discover in just a few minutes. Below you will find some tips as an inspiration and, maybe, as a little foretaste of the lively, multicultural trendy district of Berlin-Friedrichshain.

Savvy tips

Weekly market at the Boxhagener Platz

Always worth a visit: the market on Boxhagener Platz (takes place every Saturday). In addition to a large selection of delicacies from all over the world, you can also find all kinds of treasures and bizarre things here.

Küchenliebe

A very rare knife, a special pan, an absolutely hard-to-get cookbook: you’re sure to find it here. This shop is a paradise for hobby cooks and future chefs!

Shakespeare and Sons

Here you can enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or a bagel while browsing through an assortment of almost exclusively English literature.

1990

This retro-chic Vietnamese restaurant offers vegan specialties. Our tip: order lots of small dishes and feast your way through the menu.

Bäckerei Keit

At the Keit bakery, the art of bread is still real craftsmanship: the hip master baker’s goods do not only taste delicious, they are also sustainably produced.

Neumann‘s

If you are looking for typical German “Stullen”, you will find them at Café Neumann’s – and then probably stay a little longer. The homemade cakes and freshly ground coffee smell like an invitation to sit down and relax.

Your city apartment

If you live in a Savvy flat, you live in the middle of Berlin – as comfortable and uncomplicated as it gets. Clever app features make everyday tasks, like doing your laundry, receiving parcels and managing your personal documents, even easier.

Simply better living

an in-house restaurant, digital services, a green, hospitable courtyard – and much more: the comfort of a Savvy flat does not stop at the apartment door.
